The Large Rooms @ JamSpot

JamSpot in Wake­field has 4 large rooms, rang­ing in size from just under 1000sf to about 500sf. Each room is designed to pro­vide a great sound­ing, com­fort­able rehearsal venue for larg­er groups. gear can vary from room to room but the typ­i­cal set up includes 3–4 elec­tric gui­tar amps (Fend­er Delux­es and DeV­illes, Mar­shall, Peavey Clas­sic and oth­ers), a large bass rig (Ampeg or Hartke), Fish­man acoustic amps, a Yama­ha key­board and a mul­ti-mix PA. We use 5-piece Yama­ha Stage Cus­tom Birch drum kits and elite Zild­jian cym­bals.
The Show­case Room is just under 1000sf, and has a 29’x12’x 8″ stage. The PA is anchored by an X32 32 Chan­nel dig­i­tal con­sole with mains, subs and 5 mon­i­tor mix­es.
Joe’s Room is about 900sf. The PA in Joe’s is a Yama­ha TF-1 dig­i­tal con­sole with mains and 4 mon­i­tor mix­es.
Duke’s Room is about 700sf. The PA uses an ana­log desk with JBL 3-way mains and a sin­gle mon­i­tor mix.
Stu­dio Six is about 500sf. We use an ana­log board with JBL mains and a sin­gle mon­i­tor mix.

    JamSpot strives to pro­vide a com­fort­able, con­ve­nient and has­sle-free place to play music when you want to play. All of our sound-proofed rooms come equipped with gui­tar and bass amps, a drum kit and a PA sys­tem with micro­phones. Key­boards gui­tars and bass­es are also avail­able for use at $10 for the ses­sion. Plen­ty of free, onsite park­ing, too! JamSpot was found­ed in 2003, and we have an A+ rat­ing with the Bet­ter Busi­ness Bureau.
