a vocal overdub or a voiceover project, we can help you get what need easily, quickly and affordably.
At JamSpot offer the best of both the analog and digital worlds with our 24 channel Toft ATB analog
console and industry standard ProTools recording formats.

Our Live Rooms

JamSpot offers large, fully equipped tracking rooms at its facilities in Somerville in Union Square and on the North Shore in Wakefield. Our huge, comfortable showcase Rooms are specifically designed for live performance, offering an ideal tracking enviroment and plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable - a distinct contrast to the typical cramped isolation rooms in most studios.

With additional professionally designed, fully equipped rehearsal rooms on site, preproduction and rehearsal time can be bundled together with studio time to save you money and ensure that your band is warmed up and ready to go when the tape starts rolling.

Gabe Herman is the founder and chief engineer at the Recording Studios @ JamSpot. Originally from North Carolina, Gabe is an internationally recognized producer, composer and audio engineer. In addition to running the studios @ JamSpot, Gabe also teaches at the Boston University Center for Digital Imaging Arts and at the Hartt School at the University of Hartford.

Our baseline package is perfect for demo recordings of up to 4 songs. All performances are recorded live to ProTools. Package price includes live room rental, instruments, microphones, engineer, three CD copies as well as the master session files on removable disk formats (CD-R, DVD-R, oryour Firewire/USB drive).
